Doug is an ordained Presbyterian minister, having earned degrees from UC Berkeley, UCLA, and a doctorate in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. His remaining life passion is to connect resources with needs, doing whatever he can to help inspire hope for vulnerable children around the world.

Christie Skinner is an enthusiastic advocate for vulnerable children and uses her creative and marketing skills to help get their needs met. Christie started City Spaces, Inc. as a commercial space planning and design firm in Pasadena, and was its President and CEO, over a 23 year period of time. Ms. Skinner sold City Spaces, Inc. in 2009, prior to relocating to Austin, TX where her husband is currently the Dean of the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. One of her passions is economic development and empowerment for women in Kenya.
